How do you embed an Asketta questionnaire?
Publish an embed in the Asketta workspace, allow the host website, and paste the iframe or the script tag.
Keep readingThe host page should explain the questionnaire in its own HTML. The embed is the interaction. Putting an Asketta embed on a page does not improve that page's search ranking.
What does the host page include?
Write the purpose, the audience, and the privacy note in the host page. The iframe or web component loads the questionnaire from Asketta. Search engines can read the host HTML. They do not receive respondent answers.
The public embed id identifies which questionnaire to show. It is not a password and it is not an API key.
- Host page explanation
- Official iframe or script
- Allowed website
- Consent when the embed asks for it
What stays private?
A public chart shows counts only after enough people have completed the questionnaire. Names, email addresses, and individual answers are not in that chart.
The organisation that published the embed reads results, asks the virtual analyst, and opens Word, Excel, or PowerPoint in the workspace.

Replace the id with the embed id from the workspace. Keep the explanation above the iframe so the page still says what the questionnaire is for when the frame is not available.

Frequently asked questions
Does embedding an Asketta questionnaire improve search ranking?
No. Ranking is not a feature of the embed. The host page is ranked on its own HTML, and the questionnaire itself is not an indexable article.
Can the embed id be used as an API key?
No. API keys start with ak_ and authorise the tenant API. An embed id starts with emb_ and only identifies a published questionnaire.
